In order to achieve optimum performance with Lyson printing products and media, Lyson provide free ICC profiles in both Macintosh and Windows formats. They are available as zipped files which can be downloaded from the Technical section of this website.

The Lyson Media Range

Lyson Darkroom Range Gloss

With the texture and appearance of a traditional fibre based photographic paper with a unique highly lightfast inkjet coating. An amazing colour range can be achieved with this paper. The only paper on the market which gives the look and feel of a traditional fibre based Silver print.
Gloss finish.
320gsm, A3, A3+ and A4, 50 sheet packs, up to 2880dpi.
For use with dye based ink only.

Lyson Darkroom Range Pearl

Classic heavyweight lustre finish for lightfast colour and monochrome images. 250gsm, A3, A3+, and A4 50 sheet packs, 24" and 44" rolls, print up to 2880dpi.
For use with dye and pigment based inks.

Lyson Darkroom Range Matt

With the texture and appearance of a traditional fibre based photographic paper with a unique highly lightfast inkjet coating. Matt finish with a little extra texture.
220gsm, A3, A3+ and A4, 50 sheet packs, up to 2880dpi.
For use with dye based ink only.

Lyson Standard Fine Art Paper

A smooth surfaced Acid free WaterColor paper. Warm white or cream in appearance.
310gsm / up to 2880dpi
Compatible with dye and pigment based inks.

Lyson Smooth Fine Art Paper "Portfolio"

Smoother and whiter than the Standard Fine Art papers, this acid free, mould made paper is coated on both sides allowing the creation of superb inkjet portfolios. 100% Cotton Rag base.
200 and 300gsm/up to 2880dpi.
Compatible with dye and pigment based inks.

Lyson Soft Fine Art Paper

Designed to replicate Museum Parchment. This is an Acid Free heavy weight WaterColor paper. Warm White in appearance and extremely smooth to the touch.
285gsm / up to 2880dpi.
Compatible with dye and pigment based inks.

Lyson Rough Fine Art Paper

This paper has the aesthetic feel of a fine fabric from the Renaissance period. Again Warm White in appearance with a rough undulating texture. Acid free WaterColor paper.
210gsm / up to 2880dpi.
Compatible with dye and pigment based inks.

Lyson Professional Colour Photo Gloss

This new 240 gsm gloss paper has been specifically designed for colour inkjet photo printing. Instant Drying and Water Resistant, this paper offers excellent fade resistance when used with Lyson Archival
Colour inks. Up to 2880dpi.
Compatible with dye and pigment based inks.

Lyson Professional Photo Gloss

265 gsm resin based photographic inkjet paper. Has a stronger, more glossy emulsion, which produces a stunning gloss print to rival the best darkroom produced RC photograph. Up to 2880dpi.
Compatible with dye and pigment based inks.

Lyson Professional Photo Satin

265gsm resin based photographic inkjet paper-Satin finish. Introduced to enable social photographers to introduce digitally enhanced prints into an existing album of Lustre photographic prints.
Up to 2880dpi.
Compatible with dye and pigment based inks.

Lyson Photo Matt Paper

Brilliant white photographic Matte paper that enables amazing image vibrancy and tonal range in Black and White and Color. The paper is pulp based with a ink jet ink receiving coating.
170 & 120gsm /2880dpi.
Compatible with dye and pigment based inks.

Lyson Fast Dry Photo Gloss Paper

A high quality white photographic paper designed to optimize color gamut and tonal range when used with ink jet printing technologies. The paper is pulp based and uses a cast coat.
180gsm / 2880dpi.
For use with dye based inks only.
