NO! Photoshop Elements is capable of handling icc profiles too. If you don't need all the bells and whistles of Photoshop 7 or CS then Elements should be fine.

I would recommend that users of Lyson products use an image editing product that allows the use of ICC profiles. My personal preference is Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Elements. Both products allow ICC profiles. Adobe Elements offers many of the advanced features of Photoshop but at a fraction of the price.
